Concept

Connection of space & time.

Inspirational diversity

Pulsating life and space to breathe. Opportunities to meet and personal space. In the Hofstatt, apparent opposites come together to form a fascinating and highly varied whole.

Living in the Hofstatt means space for the realisation of individual life concepts. Clear lines and seamless transitions between inside and outside create a pleasant and light atmosphere. Long lines of sight are created. New perspectives are offered from every corner.

A real rarity

The historic façade is one of the most beautiful in the entire Hackenviertel district and gives the building an impressive and prestigious face. The architects interface this precious piece of Munich's architectural history with an impressive extension inside, which opens the building out to the quiet and green inner courtyards via a glass façade. The finely tuned interplay between the old and new parts of the building lends an unusual spaciousness and represents an architectural feature that is unique in its execution.

Aesthetics of the highest standard

With its modern façade and purist design language, the new building on the Hotterstrasse sets an impressive counterpoint to the historic buildings of the Hackenviertel district. Green inner courtyards offer exciting visual relationships. Added to this is the ever- surprising view of the Frauenkirche, Munich's landmark par excellence. Almost without exception, the apartments are open to two opposite cardinal directions.

Room for realization

The apartments at Hofstatt create spectacular transitions from yesterday to today, from historic to innovative, and from indoors to outdoors.

Fixtures and fittings

Living as an experience.

Old building

In the townhouse on the Hackenstrasse, every apartment is unique - and so thoughtfully planned that it can be flexibly adapted to the individual requirements of its residents. All historical elements such as magnificent stucco, coffered doors and even the original herringbone parquet flooring have been elaborately restored and characterise the flair.

New building

The furnishing concept developed by the architects is concise and aesthetically sophisticated and was tailored to each individual new-build flat. Parquet floors correspond with light walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. Bathrooms surprise with modern, seamlessly laid floor coverings made of cast resin. There are also highlights such as an integrated, electrically operated sun protection system, underfloor heating in all common rooms and showers that are flush with the floor.

Location

In the heart of Munich.

The Hackenviertel, a district that has grown over centuries, breathes history and stories without being museum-like. High-class and handmade, design icons and antiques, fashion and furniture, artists' supplies and cosmetics, flashy and classy: everything finds its place here. Just a stone's throw from Marienplatz, the successful blend of Munich charm and metropolitan esprit is particularly palpable.

Urban esprit

If you live in the Hofstatt, the whole of Munich is at your feet - with all its cultural offerings, sport, education and leisure, the countless boutiques and shops, markets and shopping arcades, the bistros, cafés, clubs, bars and restaurants. Shop at the Viktualienmarkt food market for a cooking evening with friends. Go on a whim to the cinema at Sendlinger Tor. Or take a leisurely stroll through Munich's old town with its magnificent monuments and world-famous buildings.

Mobility and accessibility.

The central location in Munich's old town offers excellent connections to the city’s public transportation network. From Marienplatz it is possible to take the suburban railway and underground trains in all directions. An underground station, tram and bus stops and taxi stands can be found at Sendlinger Tor too. Car parks and short-term parking zones are located in all surrounding streets. The old town and central ring roads are within easy reach.
