Built on a square, surrounded by three districts: Schwabing-West, Neuhausen-Nymphenburg, Maxvorstadt. Van B uses the best. The typical flair of the relaxed Schwabing quality of life. The bourgeois, laid-back style of Neuhausen. The trendy, young lifestyle of Maxvorstadt.  

Firmly located in the here and now of urban life, Van B looks out over the heritage-protected houses of the Barbarasiedlung. There are numerous shops, restaurants, beer gardens and bars in the immediate vicinity. The Olympic Park is just a few minutes' walk away. The best view of this Munich original is offered by Van B itself, from the rooftop garden.

Another of Van B's neighbours: The Lothstrasse campus - Munich's largest university of applied sciences location with almost 14,000 students. A central location for education, further development and advancement. The next milestone is approaching: the opening of the North Campus and the expansion of the University of Applied Sciences right in the middle of the Creative Quarter.

Stylish restaurant or beer garden? Sushi or Obatzda? Highball or beer? Nowhere else will culinary aficionados find such variety as they will around Van B. The combination of hip design locations and original traditional houses also creates a dynamic contrast and is quite simply fun.

Select boutiques, concept stores and shops line Hohenzollernstrasse, Schwabing's first shopping mile. Fresh produce and special delicacies are on offer at the Elisabethmarkt and, from 2023, two rooftop terraces from where you can watch the hustle and bustle of the market. 

The Olympic Park - the epitome of local recreation, full of sporting opportunities and even more nature. Luitpoldpark with its neo-baroque Bamberger Haus, on the other hand, is somewhat more stately. The Stadtacker in the Ackermannbogen neighbourhood shows yet another, completely different facet: it is a prime example of Munich's urban gardening.

Art galleries, the Brandhorst Collection, the Architecture Museum - the Kunstareal in Maxvorstadt is only a few minutes away by bike. A Mecca for friends of the visual arts. Lovers of the cinematic arts delight in the numerous cinemas around Van B. Theatres, galleries and pop-up events complete the bustling scene.
